When a company is imported to, or formed using, Inform Direct, the Stat Books are created. Companies House do not send Inform Direct the historic information for changes or transactions that occurred prior to the Inform Direct import. Fortunately, it is easy to add this data to your Registers, if required.
If you have a lot of very old information in the Statutory Registers then rather than adding it manually you may prefer to simply save a copy of the existing registers in the Document Library. You can easily recover this information if it is ever needed in the future whilst using Inform Direct to maintain the Registers going forward. How Do I Add Documents to the Library?
Alternatively, to edit any of the registers click on the blue 'View & Edit Registers' button.
Why might I need to edit the Statutory Registers?
