It is possible to upload your own documents to store on Inform Direct if you have a subscription account. This feature is not available to PAYG users.
This method is best suited if you wish to upload documents 1 at a time. It does not accomodate multiple documents. If you wish to upload more than 1, you may find the 'Drag & Drop' option is more sufficient.
1. Go to 'Documents & Reports'.
2. Click on the green 'Add File' button.
3. This will bring up the below screen. Click on the grey button marked 'Select File'
You will then be able to choose a file to upload. Inform Direct will start by showing your documents on the desktop of your computer but you can of course navigate using the explorer as normal to locate the document you wish to upload.
4. Once you have selected the required document click the green 'Continue' button you will be asked whether you would like to "Assign tags' to your Document. This is Step 2 of the flow.
You can continue without adding a tag in which case the document will appear in the Document Library as 'Untagged'. When you are happy, click the green 'Continue' button.

5. Then at Step 3 you add any 'File permissions'.
Unless there is a particular reason for selecting either Modified or Restricted then it is probably as well to leave the setting as Normal.
6. Finally, click the green 'Complete' button to see the document added to the Document Library.
