When submitting a Confirmation Statement you are 'checking and confirming' that all information in the current confirmation period is accurate and that all necessary filings have been made.
The confirmation (statement) period runs from:
- The last Confirmation made up to date; or
- (if a Confirmation Statement had not yet been filed) Date of Incorporation
until:
- 365 days from the above; or
- the date of the next filed confirmation statement if one is filed earlier than 365 days.
So, the longest period a Confirmation Statement can last is 365 days; the shortest period it can last is 1 day.
