Included within Inform Direct is the ability to record, grant and exercise Options. You will also be able to see how Options impact the CAP table.
You will always start by adding the scheme details.
How do I add the Scheme details?
You can add more than one scheme e.g. EMI, SAYE and Unapproved etc. Then you would record each person in receipt of Options for a particular scheme.
When options are granted, option certificates can be created. Please see How do I create a Share Option Certificate?
This is where you would also record expiry dates, exercise prices and the number of shares over which options have been granted.
Lastly, when an Option is exercised (or lapses) Inform Direct provides a step by step process for this.
How do I process the exercise of a share option scheme?
Of course, there is also the ability to edit or remove a share option scheme.
