Inform Direct will put a copy of each share certificate created into the Document Library. These can also be retrieved from the 'Maintain Share Certificates' section. Please see the screenshots below:





How do I create a share certificate?


If you change any details which are usually included on a share certificate you may want to give your shareholder(s) a new share certificate containing the updated details.

 

How Do I Edit a Share Certificate?


Whether you do provide a new certificate is largely down to personal preference since the ultimate proof of ownership is the Register of Shareholders.


Note: Since each share certificate should be unique, Inform Direct will give each new share certificate a unique number. If you want to re-use a share certificate number (not recommended) see this guide.
