Step 5 of the set up wizard will show all known addresses relating to the company being imported. This includes:
- Director's service addresses
- Director's residential address
- Company Secretary's service addresses (if any)
- Company registered office
- SAIL address (if any)
- PSC service addresses (if any previously notified to Companies House)
Inform Direct will do 2 things:
1. It will ask you to complete any addresses that are missing any details. If an address is missing some information e.g. if there is no Building Name/Number then a red ring will appear around the field.

2. It will look for any common addresses and associate them. This will make future administration of the company much easier to manage.
Note: For an address to be automatically associated by Inform Direct both the Building Name / Number and the Postcode must match.
If you would like to merge two addresses (as you would with the above example) you can do this by clicking on one of the yellow chain link icons marked 'Merge with another address'
