If the Companies House Authentication Code has been changed then you will need to update the code that is stored on Inform Direct in order to make submissions and remain live with Companies House.
Whilst the incorrect code is recorded in Inform Direct, the software is unable to sync in updated information from Companies House or send any submissions.
Note: The new code must be requested directly from Companies House, it is not possible to request this through the software. Please see How Do I Change or Cancel my Authentication Code?
To add a new code, open the company which you wish to add a new code for from your portfolio:
1. Go to the Company tab.
2. Click on the blue Edit Filing Details option from the right hand side.
3. Add and confirm the new code, ensuring you click the blue bottom to save changes.
