The company import process pulls through the information currently held at Companies House, including whether the shares in the company are paid.
1. Where a company has unpaid shares in existence a message appears on stage 3 of the Setup Wizard.
2. The remain stages of the Setup Wizard remain the same, for guidance on these please see How does the set up wizard work?
3. Once the import has been completed a message will appear on the company Dashboard in Alerts & Notifications.
Note: Whilst this alert is in place no share filings can be submitted to Companies House, including the Confirmation Statement.
4. The alert contains a link to How do I amend the amounts paid / unpaid?
The amounts can the be amended by following the guide provided.
5. The alert will disappear once the amounts paid have been updated. You will then be able to make share filings through the software.
