Not a mandatory piece of information by any means as it does not need to be reported to Companies House, but if you wish to store this data on Inform Direct then the option to is available.


1. First you will need to navigate to the individual you would like to add the National Insurance number for.


Directors and secretary's can be found under the 'Officers' tab on Inform Direct.


2. You will then need to click the pencil icon next to the record and select 'Edit Personal Details'



3. From the edit personal details section you will see a "National Insurance no" field. Here you can enter the details.





After entering the number, select a date of change and then press submit. The "National Insurance no" will then be stored on Inform Direct. 


This will not be sent to Companies House.
