Whenever a Director or PSC is appointed their Date of Birth (DoB) must be supplied.
Note: It is one of the main ways Companies House are able to identify/distinguish between different Directors and PSCs.
If a mistake has been made then the DoB cannot be changed in the way you might update their address details. Instead, you will need to complete a second filing with Companies House.
If the mistake occurred in relation to an officer's DoB when forming the company you will need 2 custom forms RP08 and RPCH01
If the mistake occurred when appointing the officer to an existing company you will need to file forms AP01 and RP04. This can be submitted online using the Companies House Webfiling process.
If the mistake occurred when appointing the PSC to an existing company you will need to identify the form in which they were notified, this will either be PSC01/CS01 (CS01's were used to report PSC's when first introduced from 6 April 2016).
Whichever form was used to add the PSC, the corrected DOB should be sent on a PSC01 with an RP04. (hard copies).
Companies House do not currently have a way to change a PSC DOB on incorporation.
These forms all need to be sent as hard copies to Companies House.

File a second filing of a document previously delivered (RP04)
PROOF Companies:
If the company is a part of the Protected Online Filing Scheme (PROOF) then a PR03 form will also be required to allow the filing on paper to be processed. For LLP’s it will be a form LL PRO3 that is required. The PR03 & LL PR03 forms are not available online, to access these you will need to contact Companies House.
