Inform Direct is designed to be easy to navigate and intuitive to use.
There is plenty of 'in-line' help. For example, there are 'Helpful Info' boxes that will pop up in any wizard.
However, if you would like to see an overview of any process with a step-by-step explanation of each stage there are over 400 guides. They explain how to use all the available features and settings within Inform Direct.
To access this help:
1. Click on the blue 'Help' button you will always see in the bottom right-hand corner your screen whenever you are logged in.
2. As soon as you click on the 'Help' button it will bring up a dialogue box like the one below.
3. You can search for helpful Articles. Simply type the nature of your query or a keyword into the search box.
4. As soon as you do this all the articles relating to your search will appear underneath. I searched for 'Share certificate' and my results appeared below.
5. Click the article that best meets your needs.
Note: This will open the article in a new window or tab in your browser allowing you to follow the steps while at the same time keeping you logged in to Inform Direct.
