Once you click the red button saying 'Submit to Companies House' the Inform Direct system will automatically generate the applicable form and send it electronically.

Once you have clicked that button, the filing cannot be stopped from going to Companies House.

On each of the 7 steps of the confirmation statement wizard, you have the option to check or change the details and even cancel out of the process all together.


Inform Direct uses a colour code system in the recent activity on your company dashboard:


  • Green means everything has been processed successfully.

  • Yellow means that the submission is still at Companies House.

What does 'Pending mean'?

  • Grey means that nothing has gone to Companies House.

  • Red means that something was rejected at Companies House.


Note: Whenever you see a red button on Inform Direct, please make sure everything looks correct before pressing it. Please wait for Companies House to finish processing the filing before contacting our support team.
