A Confirmation Statement needs to include much more detail about the capital of a company.

When filing a Confirmation Statement with Inform Direct you will have an opportunity to review the share capital details at Step 6 of the wizard. This is often referred to a the Statement of Capital.

What is a Statement of Capital?

Inform Direct will report the Statement of Capital to Companies House when filing a Confirmation Statement when changes have taken place during the period.

If no changes have taken place during that period, you do have the option to not include a statement of capital.

The Confirmation Statement will show on public record:
a. The Total Number of Shares in issue
b. The Total Aggregate Nominal Value of the shares in issue
c. The Total Aggregate Amount Unpaid (if any).

If there is more than 1 Share Class then the amounts for a. and b. above will be separately detailed

If the shares are denominated in more than 1 currency then a., b. and c. need to be shown for each currency.

In addition to this, if there have been changes to the shareholders, further information will be reported.
