PSCs in a company will need to verify their identity to receive a personal code. This code must then be reported to Companies House to confirm that they have been verified. 


When they need to be submitted:


  • A new PSC in a company will have the option to include the personal code as part of their appointment, or submit their code within 14 days of being added. 

  • PSCs which are also a director/LLP member will be prompted to send their code within 14 days of the confirmation statement. This will be suggested at the end of the confirmation statement filing process.

  • PSCs which are not a director/LLP member will be required to provide their code in the first 14 days of their month of birth.

On the PSCs tab, next to the PSC in question, the yellow pencil contains an option to Send PSC person code.
