Directors, LLP members and PSCs are required to provide a personal code to Companies House. The dates on which these need to be submitted depend on their role(s) in the company.
Inform Direct has tools to view and extract the dates on which the individual's personal codes will need to be submitted, and to help identify whether a code is in place for the individuals.
Director and LLP member code due dates will be the confirmation statement filing deadline, which will be visible from the portfolio screen and dashboard of each company.
PSCs (which are not a director/LLP member) will be required to provide their code in the first 14 days of their month of birth. Inform Direct has made these easier to view and track.
The PSC personal code due dates can be seen in 3 places:
1. On the PSCs tab, a column specifically showing ‘Personal code due by dates’ that have not been satisfied can be seen.

2. On the Company’s dashboard, the ‘Next’ PSCs due by date will be shown.
Note: Next could be ‘most overdue’ rather than next. It is effectively the earliest due date, either overdue or upcoming.
Colour coding here and in the PSC grid depends on if the Companies House personal codes has been entered yet:
- Personal code entered
- Green ellipses if the due by date is over 14 days from today
- Yellow ellipses if the due by date is within the 14 days to 1 day
- Red ellipses if the due by date is today or prior to today (i.e. in the past)
- Personal code not entered
- Green ellipses if the due by date is over 21 days from today
- Yellow ellipses if the due by date is within the 21 days to 3 days
- Red ellipses if the due by date is within 3 days or prior to today (i.e. in the past)

3. The reports tool on the software contains a report of Personal code due dates for PCSs.Office & LLP member due dates can be identified from a confirmation statement due dates report.
