An LLP must have a minimum of 2 designated members and are required to confirm whether they will have both designated and non-designated members. 



To confirm whether the LLP has both designated and non-designated members, please select the Members tab and Edit membership details.



If the membership structure does change to allow both designated and non-designated (or vice versa), an LL DE01 form is generated.


Providing Companies House are aware of the designated/non-designated status for the company, the below actions can be taken to edit members.



1. Select the yellow pencil next to member and select Edit membership




2. The option to confirm if the member will now be a designated or non-designated member can be selected. An LL CH01 form will be submitted electronically to notify Companies House of the new status.
