Each user could receive notice of failed Companies House filings.
When Companies House reject a submission, there will be notification within the software:
For filings on existing companies, this will be an alert on the company Dashboard and the Portfolio.
For incorporations, the details will re-appear on the pending companies section of the Portfolio.
In both cases, further details for the Companies House rejection will be provided.
Users can also opt to receive emails confirming notice of failed filings.
1. Email preferences can be managed under the Your Profile button at the top of the screen, please see below:
2. The below screenshot shows the option to receive notice of failed Companies House filing. You can select whether this applies to all your companies OR for your transactions.
In the event that you, or members of your team, are unable to edit this field, please see step 3 below.
3. Administrator users will be able to edit all email preferences, but Managers or Practitioners can have global settings applied, limiting which emails they receive or allowing them to choose.
The global email settings for Manager / Practitioner users can be updated by an Administrator under the Account tab, within Manage users. It will be applied separately for Managers and Practitioners, so should be completed separately to apply to both user types.
The global settings screen will appear as shown below:
4. Once the global email settings are updated for a user type, the Managers/Practitioners should then see this reflected within their email preference permissions.
