Inform Direct helps you prepare and file micro-entity accounts at Companies House. Further, Inform Direct will also generate a copy of the micro-entity accounts in a format meaning you will be able to file them at HMRC too.
There is now a step-by-step wizard enabling you to prepare and then file a set of micro-entity accounts directly at Companies House. To start go to the Dashboard of the company and click on the blue Prepare & file accounts button. See below.
This will start the wizard. We have prepared a guide explaining each step of the process. How Do I File Micro-Entity Accounts?
Note: Not every company will be eligible to file micro-entity accounts:

Produce draft accounts first
The Inform Direct micro-entity accounts wizard is very flexible. You can produce a set of draft accounts for the shareholders or members to approve before anything is filed at Companies House.
Produce a range of account formats
Inform Direct will always file the very minimum information required by Companies House. However, the wizard gives you options to include additional pages i.e. ones that are not submitted to Companies House. For instance you may wish to include the director's report, accountant's report and income statement. See How do I produce more detailed micro-entity accounts for shareholders/members?
Re-use historic data
To simplify production of micro-entity accounts in future years Inform direct will remember data from the previous year.
It is important to note that Inform Direct does not submit accounts to HMRC as part of this wizard. Instead, the .HTML file - which is iXBRL tagged - is created ready to upload manually. How do I download .html files from the Document Library?
