If you have previously submitted dormant accounts but now no longer can see the dormant accounts button the below details why this could be.


The AA02 form to file Dormant Company Accounts is for companies which have never traded.


In situations where it has previously been possible to submit the accounts but you no longer can it will be for one of the following reasons:


  • There has been a transaction entered in its accounting records other than the issue of subscriber shares. This is likely to have been a share transaction. 
  • The accounting category has changed. This is based on the previous accounts filed, so if since your last dormant accounts submitted via Inform Direct a different type of accounts had been sent the option will no longer show.
