Having made a General Statement it is sometimes necessary to change or remove it.
1. Click on the PSCs tab. You will see the existing General Statement, click the pencil next to it and select 'Remove statement.'
2. Add the date when the General Statement ceased to be true. Click 'Continue.'
Note: You may encounter a date restriction is removing a general statement which was in place before the company was imported to Inform Direct. To resolve this, please adjust the start date of the general statement in the Register of PSCs.
3. Check the summary by clicking 'View details,' and when you are happy you can click the red 'Submit to Companies House' button.
Note: Once you click the red button, there is nothing more we can do until Companies House accept or reject this filing.
4. Now you can see this submission as 'pending' on your recent activity on your dashboard.
You will not be able to record a PSC/RLE or new general statement until this submission has been completed.
Note: If necessary add a new General Statement.
