In certain circumstances, where the information you've entered means the model articles will not cover companies limited by guarantee, they are not offered as an option.
This would typically be because:
- You've identified that the company is to be exempt from using 'Limited' at the end of its name
- The membership class is denominated in a currency other than £ sterling
- The standard membership guarantee (or a guarantee of any individual member) is other than £1.00
- The company name you've selected requires bespoke articles to be used
Note: If you chose a company name that requires bespoke articles, you should have received an on screen message explaining why.
We put this type of validation in place to reduce the risk of Companies House rejecting the application. You will therefore need to upload your own, bespoke, articles.
