Companies House provide two different types of Presenter Code. You should only add your Presenter Code if it is creditable i.e. one that allows any Companies House fees to be settled.
Note: If you would like to use your own Presenter Code you will first need to be on a subscription service. How do I upgrade to a subscription service?
1. Click on the grey button at the top of your screen marked "Account". This takes you to the account screen. Below is an example.
2. Click on the top blue "Edit account details" button on the right of the screen. This will allow most of the details including the presenter information to be edited.
3. If you click on the button marked "Use Own Details" two additional boxes will appear which is where you add them.
Note: The Presenter id is an 11 digit code and the Presenter Authentication Code is also an 11 character code which is a mixture of uppercase letters and/or numeric digits.
4. Click the green "Save" button
Once you have added your Presenter Code any submissions made using Inform Direct that incur a Companies House fee (e.g. filing a confirmation statement) will be settled automatically from your account. You can always revert back to using the Inform Direct code if you prefer.
Note: If you do use your own code please remember to keep your credit account with Companies House topped up otherwise submissions that attract a Companies House fee will fail!
