When a company is imported to Inform Direct, the most recently available shareholder list at Companies House is brought in.
This is often from the most recent confirmation statement, meaning the software can only confirm that the shares were held from the date of the CS01.
Therefore the Share Transactions area, which can be found under the Shareholders & Share Classes tab will show the imported data with the date of the last confirmation statement before the company was imported.
This can be easily updated on Inform Direct., to update the date, go to the 'View Transactions' button in the 'Shareholders' tab.
Here you will see the imported shareholders and the imported shareholding dates, as shown below. The dates highlighted in the green box are the dates used as the shareholding date on the registers and the red box highlights the amounts paid for these shares.
To edit this information and ensure the registers are correct, select the yellow pencil highlighted in the blue box in the image above. This will allow you to edit the date shown and the amount paid.
